Atiku’s miracle statement:  I’m hoping for another miracle – Peter Obi

    Published By:

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has reacted to the statement from the presidential flag bearer of the people’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

Wakadaily reported that Atiku had on Friday asked Nigerians not to expect any miracle from Obi, noting that the indices of the Osun election have measured the strength of Obi’s party.

He questioned “What is the performance of the Labour Party? This is a party that does not have a governor; doesn’t have members of the national assembly; doesn’t have state assembly members.

Atiku further said the Labour Party believed that through social media they can poll over 1 million votes. He noted that 90 per cent of the Northern people are not into social media, insinuating that it will limit the chances of the LP winning the 2023 presidential election.”

However, reacting to Atiku’s statement in a programme on Channels Television on Monday, Obi noted that miracles have been happening all his life, recalled right from 2003 when he contested for governor of Anambra State from a party that was less than a year old. A miracle happened he won the election. So he’s looking forward to the next miracle next year to complete his journey.
