Darkoo Early Life & Education
Darkoo was on the 19th of September 2001 in the city of Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. she was born into a Nigerian household. She is Yoruba by tribe and hails from South West parts of Nigeria.
She spent a part of her formative years living with her parents in their apartment in Yaba. In 2008, Darkoo and her family emigrated to the United Kingdom, searching for greener pastures. She was seven years old at the time.

Darkoo began music when she was still in high school. Influenced by the UK Drill and Grime scene, she started to compose freestyle rap songs. By fifteen, she was already recording and releasing Drill songs.
She listened to songs by upcoming and prominent artists in the UK rap industry and spent hours practicing freestyle songs to hone her craft. In a matter of time, she became a notable face in the underground rap music scene and often performed at shows and events in London.
