    Jerry Amilo was born on July 21, 1970, in Enugu Ukwu in Anambra state southeastern part of Nigeria.

    He originally hails from  Enugu-Ukwu in Anambra State, the southeastern part of Nigeria.

    Jerry Amilo obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.



    Jerry Amilo developed an interest in acting in the early years of 1986, Jerry began acting in his church’s drama unit. He was trained to perform biblical characters which he perfected.

    He professionally joined the Nigerian Nollywood movie industry in 1993, He showed up and got his first role in the movie “Bruno and the Law”.

    He rose to fame after playing his intriguing role in the movie titled “Desperadoes”.

    Jerry has starred in more than 80 movies which include the likes of Desperadoes, Mafians, King of the Town, Across the Bridge, Boys from Malaysia, and many others.
