Early Life & Education

BlaqBoi was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Panwal in 1996. He is the first child of the Panwal family.

He is the first son of a family of six. He has two younger brothers and a sister. He is an indigene of Plateau State.

BlaqBoi hails from Kagu, Pankshin Local Government Area. He’s from the North Central Geopolitical Zone.

He was birthed and raised in Plateau State. He spent his formative years in Jos before migrating to Lagos.

BlaqBoi underwent his elementary and secondary school in Jos, Plateau State, studying at leading private schools in the city. He bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Theater and Film Art from the University Of Jos.

Career

BlaqBoi‘s passion for storytelling made him study Theatres Arts at the university. He aspired to be an actor and filmmaker. As an undergraduate, he was a member of some of the leading Theater Companies at the University Of Jos.

He starred in several stage plays produced on campus and in Jos. Before graduating from the university, he appeared in some short films produced by independent filmmakers.

Upon graduation, BlaqBoi decided to apply the knowledge he had gained in school to become a filmmaker. He began collaborating with other up-and-coming creatives to make films that the Nigerian audience would love.

On the side, BlaqBoi also worked as a Fashion Model. He signed up with a modeling agency in Lagos and began receiving gigs in the fashion industry. Over the years, he has worked with many fashion brands on numerous projects. From fashion shows to commercials, he has slowly but steadily made his mark in fashion.

BlaqBoi has leveraged his acting skills to start a career as a Visual Content Creator. He has worked with many Nigerian content creators to create skits tailored to a social media audience.

Most of his skits have done viral on the internet, earning him more popularity. He has worked with notable content creators, including DatWarriGirl, Fanny, Talented Vhee, Dhixxo, Dance Glitch, and Vhee Concepts.
