On a Suzuki DR250 motorcycle, she traveled 8,000 kilometers in one month from Singapore to Mount Everest Base Camp in 2015 to raise money and awareness for the Singapore Disability Sports Council and impaired athletes.

In 2017, Vaune Phan criticized the modifications made to the Additional Registration Fee system for motorbikes as “daylight robbery on citizens” following the announcement of the annual Singapore Budget, which lists the government’s revenues and expenses for the year. The introduction of a tiered system saw the ARF rise from 15% in the first tier to 50% in the second tier to 100% in the third.

Vaune Phan successfully sued Mark Yeow for defamation on December 15, 2021, and the district court judge declared Mark Yeow guilty of doing so. Mark Yeow‘s false accusations were made in response to Vaune Phan‘s claim that her Ducati 899 Panigale motorcycle was harmed while being repaired at Revology Bikes, a motorcycle repair business.

The judge determined that Mark Yeow‘s comments damaged Vaune Phan‘s reputation because she had “an extensive online social media presence.” She received $60,000 in damages as well as additional money for legal fees. Mark Yeow filed an appeal against the judgment, and the High Court heard the case. After consideration, Justice Ang Cheng Hock reduced the required damages to $40,000.
