Nigerian Gospel singer, Victory Gbakara wins season 8 of Nigeria Idol defeating other contestants to clinch the grand prize.
Victory Gabakar defeated his runner up Precious Mac to win the grand prize of the season 8 of the Nigeria Idol music show.
The Grand prize which is N100m consists of N35m, a car, music record deal and a video shoot.
Victory speaking shortly after emerging the winner of the show, thanked his fans who voted in numbers to make his dream of winning the show come to past, stating that it would have never been possible without them.
He said, “I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happened.
“Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
The Nigeria Idol show has been known for Scouting for new refreshing and untapped voices from the country and helping them build their potential.
