    Wizkid records another great feat for Afrobeat as he sells out Tottenham Stadium

    It is yet another great feat attained for Nigeria and Afrobeat  as superstar singer Wizkid sold out the Tottenham Stadium in a landmark show.

    Afrobeat has been winning lots of international recognition as many Nigerian artists are gaining millions of fans and listeners across the world.

    Grammy award-winning singer Wizkid sold out his show on the 29th of July 2023, with over 60,000 people reported to have turned out to watch him perform in his first-ever stadium headline show in the United Kingdom.

    This is show is one of the stops for WizKids’ fifth album tour, “More Love Less Ego”, he performed lots of songs from the album and some of his classic songs also.

    Musical group “Cavemen” who served as a support band for Wizkid at the show also performed at the Tottenham show.

    Lots of top music figures in Nigeria were also present at the show, likes of Wande Coal, Bankulli, Sesan, Adesope, and Arsenal football players Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah, Nollywood actress and a huge fan of Wizkid Osa Ighodaro was also present.
