    Bruna Boys producer Telz shares how he didn’t have N150 for keke

    Grammy award-winning producer Telz reveals some of his struggles as an upcoming producer.

    Telz is a successful Afrobeat producer who had worked with top Afrobeat music stars like Burna Boy and Patoranking.

    He reveals how he struggled at the beginning of his career in an interview with  ‘Viz and Banks ‘ podcasts.

    Telz stated that five years ago he couldn’t afford to pay N150 to commute from one part of Lagos to another.

    He also talked about how he was homeless and switching from apartment to apartment just to be able to network and meet people.

    Telz also shared that he didn’t believe that he would be making up to five thousand dollars monthly five years ago.

    Acknowledging musician Pretty Boy DO, he stated how he was the first person that helped him on his journey and no matter how big he becomes he will always remain indebted to him.

    Surving all the hurdles of life, Telzs is now a Grammy award-winning producer for his contributions to Burna Boys ‘Twice As Tall’ which won the 2020 Grammy for the World Album category.
