Nigerian award-winning singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido has once again showcased his passion for diamond with his piece of jewellery.

In a viral video trending on the internet, the father of four splurged a whopping N577 million on a diamond necklace to celebrate the success of his Timeless album.

The diamond-crested pendant was designed by luxury jewellery brand Local Kettle Brothers Uk Jewelers.

The diamond necklace is specially designed for the celebration of his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless’ which was released on March 31, 2023, shortly after the singer resumed on social media following his first son’s death, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Timeless album has surpassed 1 billion streams, as of August.

In a video posted on Instagram, the Afrobeat star was seen wearing his latest neckpiece, which was removed from its safe box and worn around his neck.

Satisfied with what he had seen, Davido stated that he transformed sand into diamonds.

“I turned sand to diamond,” the ‘Assurance’ crooner captioned the video.
