Afeez Owo Early Life and Education
Afeez was born in Iseyin, Oyo State, but he grew up in Idiroko area of Ogun State before moving to Oyo State to complete his secondary education. In 1980s, he relocated to Lagos in pursuit of greener pastures.
He attended St. Paul Anglican School in Idiroko, Ogun State, for his basic and secondary education. He continued his secondary school education at Faramora Secondary School in Oyo State.
Afeez Owo Career
Afeez’s enthusiasm for performing began when he was in elementary school. When he arrived to high school, he had an idea for a theater script called “Kokoro Aiye,” which was well received by his classmates and professors.
His professional experience began when he relocated to Lagos in the mid-1980s, where he met fellow Yoruba actor, Rasaq Olayiwola (Ojopagogo).
He rose to prominence in the Yoruba film business thanks to Ojopagogo. In the year 2000, he began producing films with the film ‘Maje Sinwon Waye.’

Afeez got married to Mrs Olamide Martins Abiodun also known as Mide Martins and he has two kids which are Omotola Abiodun and Anuoluwapo Abiodun.
