Atiku lied during interview with Arise TV, says Wike

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Friday reacted to the People’s Democratic Party, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, interview he granted to Arise TV, alleged that he told many lies.

The former Vice President said he did not pick Wike as his running mate because he wanted someone he could work with amicably.” Wike said despite claims in newspapers that a committee had been set up to meet with him for reconciliation none came.

Wike disclosed this while speaking at the international airport in Port Harcourt, Rivers capital, he said the PDP presidential candidate lied about how he picked Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta governor, as his running mate.

Wike said, Atiku appeared on Arise Television, see the statement he made. So many lies were told and you said I should not react to some of those issues. That would not be fair.”
