Ashabi Simple, a Nollywood actress and one of the babymamas of the controversial singer Portable, has responded after the singer publicly slammed her.

It has been widely reported that the singer was arrested twice last week, once for unpaid debt and once for assaulting a police officer.

After his release, Portable took to social media to slam Ashabi for not supporting him during his difficult time.

He stated how she had previously said in an interview that she couldn’t live without him and would cry if he didn’t kiss her, yet she didn’t visit him at the police station.

He asserted that the mother of his child was preoccupied on a film set and disregarded him, but would openly express admiration and declare her love for him.

In what appears to be a reaction to his recent outburst, Ashabi advised her followers to steer clear of individuals who have nothing at stake.

She explained that such individuals do not prioritize the aspirations of others.

“Avoid people that don’t have what to lose, they don’t care about other’s goals”.

To jog your memory, last Tuesday, the Lagos State Police Command apprehended the singer for failing to pay the debt he owed after purchasing a G-Wagon from a local car dealer.

In response, Portable emphasized that God is greater than any situation and reiterated that God is in control.

Following his arrest, the singer released a song called “Spider-Man” in which he provided details about the incident.

It is worth recalling that Portable and Ashabi had a public argument in January after Ashabi gave an interview discussing their romantic relationship.

She revealed that despite Portable being married and having multiple partners, she still felt like he belonged to her alone.

This interview angered Portable, who criticized Ashabi and reminded her that she was just a mistress.

He also pointed out that he had a wife at home. Ashabi fired back, highlighting that not everyone possesses the gift of understanding.

For a brief period, the couple reconciled, with Portable reposting a TikTok video of Ashabi and declaring her his wife and queen.

Unfortunately, their reconciliation was short-lived as Portable accused her of trying to ruin his marriage and using him to promote her movie.

Surprisingly, on Valentine’s Day, Ashabi publicly reaffirmed her love for Portable and expressed her unwillingness to give up on him.
