Breaking: Unknown Gunmen behead Anambra lawmaker Okoye

Unknown Gunmen Beheaded Okechukwu Okoye, the lawmaker representing Aguata North, in the Anambra State House of Assembly who was earlier kidnapped.

Okoye, who hailed from Isuofia, the community of Governor Charles Soludo’s community, was kidnapped in Aguata on Sunday with one person in his Toyota Sienna car.

Okoye is a member representative of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s constituency, at the Assembly.

WAKADAILY gathered that his Car was Recovered By the Nigeria police Force later and deployed operatives to rescue the lawmaker.

The Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, who confirmed his kidnap on Thursday, during the presentation of the 2022 revised budget to the state House of Assembly, offered hope of rescuing his lawmaker as Security agencies were working 24 hrs to ensure his release.

Anambra State Police spokesman Ikenga Tochukwu confirmed the Death of the lawmaker.

He said: “His head was found along Nnobi road yesterday (Saturday) And There is no suspect in custody yet.”

In a viral video circulating online, the freshly beheaded head was seen placed in a carton by along Nnobi road
