Popular afro beats artist, David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has announced his latest project, a highly-anticipated fashion collection created in collaboration with PUMA.
After taking a break from the public scene for several months, the singer has returned with a host of new projects set to be rolled out in the coming weeks. The fashion collection, which has been in the works for some time, is set to be released in April and will feature a range of African-prints pieces.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, Davido will be touring PUMA stores in New York, US, and the United Kingdom, where he will meet with fans and discuss his latest project.
Davido wrote on his Twitter page, “My collection with PUMA will be released globally on April 7th! Thank you to everyone for patiently waiting on this, it means the world to me. I will be doing meet and greets at PUMA stores in New York and the UK, just before my shows and would love to see you all there!.”
Originally scheduled for release in November 2022, the collection was postponed due to the tragic death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, who passed away in October 2022 after drowning at the singer’s Banana Island home in Lagos.
Davido also revealed that his album release, which was postponed following the tragic incident, will be rolled out on Friday.
This collaboration between Davido and PUMA is sure to be a hit, as fans eagerly anticipate the release of the new fashion collection. With his unique style and energy, Davido is sure to bring a fresh perspective to the fashion world and captivate audiences worldwide.
