Govt of Delta State reaffirms its dedication to a better security

The government of Delta State has reaffirmed its dedication to bringing about greater security and peace within the state.

This was said by Mr. Daniel Mayuku, the board chairman of the Delta Security Trust Fund, when he escorted top executives and board members to Lagos to observe the workings of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.

In a statement released on Thursday in Asaba, Mayuku recalled that the board was established by the state government as an efficient means of battling crime.

He gave everyone the assurance that the Delta State Government was dedicated to making sure the state’s security situation had all the attention it required to become better.

“The state government is putting all its security machinery appropriately in place and the Delta State Security Trust Fund is also being positioned to become fully operational in the state.

“This informed the decision to go on the working visit to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund to understudy the Modus Operandi of the agency.

“The working visit saw an elaborate indoor session of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund and the team, led by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr Abdurrazaq Balogun, did an expose of the operations of the board and successes recorded since its operations,” he said.

Additionally, Mayuku mentioned that the Executive Secretary of the Lagos Trust Fund conveyed his wish to see the Delta State Trusts Fund succeed.

He said that the Lagos State Security Trust Fund’s success was due to the legislation that established it.

According to him, the visit also gave the Lagos Trust Fund the opportunity to show the Delta team around some highly effective security companies that receive significant material money from the board and to visit corporate organizations that are pertinent to the board’s operations.

Mayuku expressed pleasure with the visit’s outcome and gave the assurance that the State Government was prepared to use the practical suggestions from its Lagos counterpart to guarantee the highest level of security for its inhabitants.

Additionally, he guaranteed that the amount of information acquired from the visit would not be ignored but would instead be effectively applied to enhance the state’s security agenda under the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborewori.

Mr. Sam Osasa, the Executive Secretary of the Delta State Security Trust Fund, reiterated the management’s and the board’s dedication to the crucial objective of forming the board.

Osasa said, “The visit was worth the while, and the experience garnered will be totally interpreted to ensure that it falls in line with the goal of the State Governor for the agency.”

In order to facilitate this kind of intellectual exchange, he also emphasized the necessity of enhancing the collaboration amongst Sister Trust Fund Agencies around the nation.

Certificates, plaques, and mementos were given to the Delta team and vice versa as the tour came to a conclusion.
