Award-winning singer, Wizkid has broken his silence following concerns he received from his fans over his appearance at an even in London.

The singer had attended the UK premiere of ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ in London, a clip circulating on the Internet showed Wizkid looking solemn.

The video which went viral on social media raised concerns among netizens, as they pointed out how dry and old he was looking.

Reacting, Wizkid via his Instagram stories revealed that he lost himself since his mother’s death. He however expressed hope that someday he would feel himself again.

The post read: “Look in the mirror and I don’t feel myself. Mama left me and I lost myself. I can’t wait to feel myself again. Life of a soldier! Military with it! Until then I dey slap away for free so leave me.

And I’m thankful that you all are going through this phase with me. You seen me at my lowest now. When you see me back on my high no complain. Expensive pain.”
