Nollywood comedic actor and filmmaker, Williams Uchemba has urged Nigerians to hold their peace amidst drama over the Saturday’s presidential election.
Taking to his Instagram page, the father of one claimed he woke up as a proud Nigerian and loved his country more instead of hating it.
Williams Uchemba wrote, “My fellow Nigerians, Today I woke as a proud Nigerian. I woke up loving my country more instead of hating it.
“I woke up happy to know that I have brothers and sisters in all the 36 states of this country, people that believe in the same dream, vision and future for our beloved country Nigeria. I woke up realizing that God had finally answered our long-term prayer, which is UNITING us together as a nation with one voice which we saw on the 25th of February in the 178,000 pulling Units. , ( it has never happened before).
“Do not be dismayed, and let your heart not be troubled WE WON, and you made that possible. We will not riot and destroy our properties. No, we will hold our peace as we have been instructed and WAIT. Whatever you do, know that THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE IS THE VOICE OF GOD, and I am glad that I am on the Lord’s side,” he said.
