Jibola Dabo was born on August 14th, 1942 in the city of Lagos Stateigeria southwestern part of Nigeria.
He is a native of Owo in Ondo State, Nigeria.
Jibola Dabo completed his both basic and secondary school education in Lagos state, Nigeria.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in fine Arts at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
While he also obtained a master’s degree in Mass Media at Columbia University in the United States of America.
Career
Jibola Dabo finds his interest in acting at the early age of 6 when he took part in stage drama in primary school.
He made up his mind to become part of the Nigerian Nollywood industry professionally in 2006 after joining the Nigerian movie industry.
While he broke into the spotlight after his roles in movies titled “My Game” and “Bloody Carnival”. He got more exposure for his role in the film Dirty Secrets starring alongside Tonto Dikeh.
