Minister of transport appoints chief of staff

The Honourable Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, has on Thursday appointed Dr Abubakar Dantsoho, as chief of staff.

A statement issued by Eric Ojiekwe, the Director Press and Public Relations in the Ministry disclosed that “Dantsoho holds a PhD in Maritime Technology, from  Liverpool, John Moores University, UK, M.Sc in International Transport from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK, and a B.Sc from the University of Maiduguri.

“Further background checks reveal that he has been in the Maritime industry for well over twenty-five (25) years, with skills in Maritime Technology, Ports Management and Operations, Logistics, amongst others, with international institutions, including the World Bank and Crown Agent UK.

“He was also at one time, the Port Manager of Onne Port in Rivers State,” he said.
