Oge Okoye was born on November 16, 1980, in London, United Kingdom where she was raised.
She was born to the Anglican household of Mazi Okoye and Lolo Okoye.
She originated hails from Nnewi, a town in the Anambra state southeastern part of Nigeria.
Oge Okoye relocated back to Nigeria with her family after completing her basic and high school education in London.
She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Career
Oge Okoye began chasing her acting career and joined the Nigerian movie industry in 2001.
While she rose to fame in 2002 after starring in the blockbuster movie “Spanner” alongside Chinedu Ikedieze.
However, since she became prominent, she has been featured in over 150 Nollywood
movies such as Black Bra, War game, The Snake Girl, Beyond passion, Blood sister, Blackberry Babes, emotional battle, and so on.
She also starred in the popular tv series “Hotel Majestic” where she played the
role of Patricia the chambermaid.
The beautiful actress got married to Mr. Stanley Duru in 2005 and their union is blessed with two lovely kids, although She separated from her husband in 2012.
