Pastor Femi Lazarus slams the act of slamming individuals on the internet

The Pastor, Femi Lazarus, has publicly slammed keyboard warriors in one of his sermons, stating that individuals who come from a well-raised background do not engage in online activities that involve dragging or criticizing others on social media.

He briefly mentioned a young boy on social media who insulted Pastor Adeboye without considering the impact of his words.

Pastor Femi Lazarus also expressed that attacking people online only perpetuates pain. To illustrate this, he referred to sadistic lecturers who train others, leading to a dysfunctional system.

Regarding Christians, Pastor Femi Lazarus suggested that they should focus on finding inconsistencies in the Bible to criticize others.

Regarding the criticism faced by Pastor Adeboye, he has frequently been subjected to harsh criticism and insults from Nigerians.

In general, people face a lot of criticism and negative comments on social media, especially on the X app. There is a popular saying that Twitter is not suitable for sensitive individuals.

Recent events on social media have highlighted the extent to which people are criticized online. Wizkid and Davido engaged in a public argument, with their fans and associates joining in.

Regina Daniels has also been a target of online criticism since she got married. Despite this, the talented actress has shown resilience by not paying much attention to the negative comments.

In addition to criticism, there is a cancel culture trend in Nigeria, where past mistakes are not forgotten. Whenever the person in question tries to appear on social media, their mistakes are brought up and used against them.

Some celebrities have managed to avoid being canceled by standing up for themselves and fighting back. For instance, Burnaboy often clashes with his fans, but because he has not allowed himself to be taken down, he remains relevant to this day.
