The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has claimed that his elder brother Prince William of Wales, physically assaulted him.
Harry disclosed this in his highly-anticipated upcoming autobiography “Spare” a copy of which was obtained by Guardian UK on Thursday.
“Spare” is a forthcoming memoir by Prince Harry expected to be in the public domain in five days’ time.
He said William, grabbed him by the collar and threw him to the floor, adding that their relationship fell apart over his marriage to Meghan Markle.
Guardian UK said, “Describing a confrontation at his London home in 2019, Harry says William called Meghan ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’, which Harry calls a ‘parrot[ing of] the press narrative’ about his American wife.
“The confrontation escalated, Harry writes, until William ‘grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and. knocked me to the floor.”
Prince Harry claimed that the attack left him with noticeable injuries, including scrapes and bruises.
