Early Life & Education
Samuel Ajibola was born in Mazamaza, Lagos state but originally hails from Ikole local government area in Ekiti state.
He is the eldest among his 3 siblings in a family of 6.
His father, Lanre Ajibola (Rtd Military veteran), married his mother, Irene Ajibola (an ex-banker).
Samuel had his elementary and secondary education at Army children’s school and Command secondary school.
He studied political science at the University of Lagos and also obtained a diploma in acting from Amaka Igwe’s center of excellence in film and Media studies.
Career
Samuel Ajibola who began acting in 1995 at the age of 5 with a role as a child actor in Opa Williams-directed movie “Tears for love”, took a break from acting to further his education.
Upon his return in 2009, he acted in Teco Benson’s produced movie “The Fake Prophet” starring alongside Grace Amah.
In 2013, he also starred in the MTV produced tv series, Shuga and has featured in several blockbuster movies including Last Flight to Abuja with Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and The Antique with Kiki Omeli, Judith Audu, and Gloria Young.
The talented actor rose to fame after his intriguing role in the Africa Magic tv series, The Johnsons where he played the role of Spiff.
Apart from The Johnsons, Ajibola has also featured in a whole lot including The Calabash, Paradise, Kamelita, and his recent production “Dele Issues” where he features the former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
