Joe Jonas officially files for a divorce from wife Sophia Truner few hours after it was rumored.

Looks like the rumors of the couple getting a divorce wasn’t a rumor after all as it has been reported that the singer had gotten a divorce lawyer and paper work had been filled in Miami-Dade courtroom on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Reports say Joe Jonas has requested that he and Sophie work out a custody plan for their two daughters, Willa three years old and their 1 year old daughter who’s name is yet to be disclosed but addressed as D.J.

As reported by TMZ, the coupled difference in lifestyle had lead to an irreparable rift in their marriage, Joe is more of a homebody and Sophie on the other hand likes to party.

Sources close to the couple revealed that the singer didn’t want to request for a divorce but had to do so for the interest of their kids.

According to the paperwork filed, Joe has requested that he and Sophie create a parenting plan and a ‘timesharing schedule’ for their kids. His lawyer stated that, “It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility”.

The paperwork also requested that the children primary residence be in Miami where the ex-couple both live.

The Blast also reported that Joe Joans would keep all royalties from his music, and Sophie will also keep all monies she end from Games of Thrones as well as other payments from other movies because of the prenup.
