Somolu General hospital gets blood bank fridge donation

Chief Kayode Rotimi Williams, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Kay Farms Products Limited, has presented a blood bank refrigerator and 10 units of air conditioners to the General Hospital, Somolu, Lagos.

while receiving the items from chief William last week at the conference room of the hospital, the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Babalola Ogungbemile, together with the management expressed gratitude for the kind gesture.

Chief Williams, who was accompanied by his wife, Chief (Mrs) Abimbola Williams, responded that he felt happy giving back to humanity after 53 years of active work.

In a statement on Sunday, by the medical director stating that the items came at the right time because the hospital had been in so much need of them.

He said, “I am 75 this year and I was happy when approached on the issue because it was an avenue for me to give back to humanity.

“It is important for man to always give God all the glory no matter the position we acquire in life, as we are passers-by here on earth.”

Williams, an agriculturist, appreciated Somolu residents for giving him the opportunity to serve humanity through the gesture.

He was very delighted that he had an opportunity to contribute his quota to the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
