Popular Nigerian Afro-pop singer and songwriter, Tems won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category on Sunday night for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.
The 65th annual Grammy awards was held today February 5, in Los Angeles.
Wakadaily earlier report that Tems was among the guests invited to the annual Roc Nation pre-Grammy Brunch on Saturday.
The ‘Try me’ crooner was spotted in viral videos conversing with Roc Nation founder Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé.
Beyoncè has the most nominations this year with nine in total; Kendrick Lamar has eight nominations, and Adele and Brandi Carlile each got seven.
