American singer and actress Teyana Taylor reveals that she and her Husband Iman Shumpert are separated.
The entertainer who doubles as an actress, singer and dancer made this announcement on her instagram account.
She clarified that infidelity wasn’t the reason for their separation and stated that they were still best of friends and business partner.
She also revealed that the had been separated for a while but as a family have decided to keep it off the internet and the only reason why she was making this statement was because of the narratives been driven out.
She wrote, “ AHT AHT ! Not too much on my besties ! In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and been for a while. To be 1000% clear “infidelity” ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still best of friends and great business partners and we are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are family and in 10yrs together, 7yrs married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.
We just keep y’all as!ses out of the group chat lol, which is the reason we have been able to successfully & peacefully separate without all the outside noise. The only reason I’m even sharing THIS part of the chat is because the narratives are getting a little out of hand & it’s unfair to all parties involved. I hope this provide some clarity for y’all. The couple tied the knot in 2015 and enjoyed a beautiful marriage and their union was blessed with two kids, Junie Tayla six and Rue Rose there.
