Two died, five injured in Ondo road accident – FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), in Ondo said two persons died while five others sustained injuries in a road accident on Saturday, along the Ondo-Ore Expressway at Asewele in the Odigbo Local Government Area.

Mr Ezekiel Sonallah, State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), that “Seven people were involved in the accident, while two died – a male and a female adult

“The injured victims were taken to the General Hospital, Ore, while the corpses were deposited at a hospital in Ore.”

He said the accident involved a Toyota Priva bus with registration number REL937XA and a truck with registration number BDJ476XG.

According to him the cause of the crash was the loss of concentration and speed limit violation on the part of the drivers of the vehicles involved.”
