Unathi Msengana Nkayi (born November 6th, 1978) popularly known as Unathi Msengana is a South African Disc Jockey, singer, and radio host.

Early Life & Education
Unathi Msengana was born on November 6, 1987, in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, where she was raised.
She had her secondary education at Victoria Girls High school and attended Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa, where she studied Journalism and drama.
Career
Unathi Nkayi began her career in the early 1990s. She also auditioned for the show, Castle Loud which aired on SABC 1.
She landed the rope and also co-produced the show. This led to her breakthrough in TV and radio broadcasting, leading to her working for YFM from 2004 -2020.
She was a radio disc jockey at Metro FM in 2007 and also replaced Mara Louw as a judge on the M-Net reality competition idols in 2011.

Unathi Nkayi got married to her ex-husband Thomas Msengana better known as Bad Boy T who is a radio host and Disc Jockey.
The couple allegedly met while working together at Kaya FM. They later got married on September 19th, 2009.
However, news of their separation came in 2017. But the couple kept their divorce a secret due to alleged infidelity.
They went on their separate ways after eight years of marriage, they had two children Sinako and Imbo.
