Victor Osimhen could sue Napoli over TikTok video – Agent

Roberto Calendar, the agent of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, on Tuesday said the player could take legal action against Napoli after Italian club posted a video mocking him on its official TikTok account.

Wakadaily learnt that the Serie A champions, Napoli came under serious attack after they posted a mockery video of the Nigeria international for missing a penalty on Sunday that could have given Napoli a victory against Bologna.

Osimhen’s agent released a statement via his official X page, saying the video caused “very serious damage to the player”.

Calendar said, “What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable.

“A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted,” said the agent.

“We reserve the right to take legal action and any other useful initiative to protect Victor.”

Napoli did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside normal business hours.
