Yahoo Boys’ll end in destruction’, Oyedepo warns internet fraudsters

Bishop David Oyedepo, the Pesiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel International, has criticized fraudsters and “Yahoo Boys” adding that they have a tainted future.

The term “Yahoo Boy” was gotten from the Yahoo e-mail service, it is commonly used to refer to young men who engage in various forms of internet fraud, particularly advanced fee fraud and other scams.

On  Sunday, the Bishop,  in his sermon at a service in  Canaanland  urged youths to live within the bound of the law.

He condemned those in the business of defrauding others, saying they would end in bitterness and destruction.

“Nobody playing games has a future in the kingdom. Hear this and hear it forever. If that is your trade, stop it.

“Yahoo Yahoo business, stop it. Grabbing people’s ATM card details, stop it! You are on a very fast lane that always ends in bitterness and destruction.

“Engage with that law cheerfully. Engage with that law willingly. Engage with that law tirelessly and watch how you begin to lay up gold with time,” he said.

After the senior preacher and founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Oyedepo becomes the latest cleric frowning at internet fraudsters.

He stressed that the (internet fraudsters) will ‘know no peace’ because they are stealing from other people.
