Nigerian multi-millionaire business mugul Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu also known as Cubana Chief Priest has been granted N10M million bail.
Wakadaily reported hours ago that EFCC had arraigned the businessman over Naira misuse. Channel Television reported that EFCC had filed a three-count charge against the businessman for allegedly spraying and misusing the naira at a social gathering in opposition to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007
The businessman was called before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos on Wednesday morning, April 17th, 2024, and had justified not guilty to the claims of naira abuse. While being tried in court this morning, his counsel, Chukwusolo Onukwi opposed the charges labeled against him by the EFCC. He had also filed a bail application which has been approved by the judge.
The judge had granted him N10million bail.
Two weeks ago, EFCC arrested popular crossdresser, Bobrisky over same abuse of the Naira which he pleaded guilty to, and had pleaded with the judge to give him another chance,vowing to make better use of his social media platform to educate young people on the better use of money,but unfortunately the judge did not pardon him.
Last week, the crossdresser was sentenced to jail for 6 months without an option of a fine over Naira abuse.
Back In 2022, EFCC arrested Cubana Chief Priest on issues related to money laundering and tax fraud.
The millionaire was in their care for days and had even spent his birthday in their custody. However, he was set free on Monday, April 4th, 2022 to the excitement of his fans, followers, friends, colleagues, and lovers.
The news of his freedom was made public by his colleague, Soso Soberekon who dis photo of himself and Okechukwu on his verified Instagram page, hailing him for being trusted and tested.

The millionaire arrest came months after his associate and long-time friend, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, was arrested by EFCC operatives over a case of alleged money and fraud over tax.
