It’s down time for American rapper Diddy as 18 companies cut ties with Empower Global, a business venture founded by him.
The 18 companies are said to have left Empower Global due to sexual assault cases being flied against Diddy.
The companies confirmed this to the Rolling Stone Magazine on Sunday 9th December 2023.
Founder of luxury-bag, eyewear, and apparel company, House of Takura, Annette Njau said; “We take the allegations against Mr. Combs seriously and find such behavior abhorrent and intolerable. We believe and support victims’ rights, even against the most powerful of people.”
According to Rolling Stone Magazine, 18 brands in total have cut ties with Diddy’s Empower Global which was founded in 2021.
Recall that Wakadaily had reported that after Diddy’s ex-girlfriend sued him for sexual assault which was later settled out of court amicably.
Two other ladies had come out to sue the singer also, and the list kept growing as a fourth lady came out to accuse him of sexual assault, which resulted to Diddy making a statement calling out ladies to stop looking for easy way to cash out by sueing him for sexual assult as it was tinting his reputation, he said, “Enough is enough”.
