Former Anambra sate governor and presidential candidate of the Labour Party LP, Peter Obi visited the governor of Rivers State, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike today (Wednesday).
It was a close-door meeting which lasted for few hours, Obi was welcome at the governor’s private residence in Port Harcourt.
Although the two politician’s purpose of meeting is still unknown, as journalists were not granted entry. However, Obi noted that he visited the governor to confer with him over important issues of the National interest.
WAKADAILY gathered that, the visit comes 5 days after Obi returned from Egypt, where he went to study how Egyptians generate power supply.
Mr Obi posted on his Twitter about the visitation he said “Earlier today, I visited Port-Harcourt, to confer with H.E. @GovWike on vital issues of national interest,” -PO.
Governor wike on the other hand, was considered as Atiku’s running mate for the people’s Democratic Party PDP, but lost to Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.
