The family of Nigerian Gospel singer Sammie Okposo, has released an official statement regarding his abrupt death.

Wakadaily report that the music producer, psalmist, and CEO of Zamar Entertainment slumped and died at the age of 51 on Friday morning November 25, 2022.

Celebrities and fans have taken to social media to mourn the Welu Welu crooner, who passed away in the wee hours of today.

However, according to the official statement by Okposo’s family, they are consoled because Sammie is happily singing with the angels in heaven.

The statement added, “We kindly request that the family is allowed to grieve peacefully at this time. More details about the burial will be communicated soon.”
