Early Life & Education
Emtee was born on September 15th, 1992 in Matatiele, but he was raised in Rockville, Soweto, a town in Gauteng Province, where he had both his basic and high school education.
Career
Emtee began his music at the early age of 9 when he performed on stage for the first time at a Yeoville primary school talent show.
At the age of 17, he started getting some pay for his musical efforts.
In 2010, he collaborated with South African rapper Maraza on a song titled “In It To Win It”.
While in 2015, he released his debut single titled “Roll Up” which was produced by his producer friend, Ruff.
He later released the remix for the single which he called “Roll Up Re-Up” featuring Wizkid and AKA.
