Ekpa ends sit-at-home, says no elections in Biafraland

The five-day sit-at-home order in the South- East region of Nigeria has been lifted by Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu.

Ekpa in a video posted on YouTube on Wednesday night, announced the end of the five-day sit-at-home order, terming it “historic and successful” for Biafraland.

Simon Ekpa further declared in the video that the South-East area will not host the 2023 elections, citing it as a “sacrifice” that the people of Biafra must make.

He also said that “ending Nigeria” must be accomplished by 2023.

The caption reads, “To end Nigeria in 2023 is a task that must be done! There will be no general election in Biafraland in 2023, it is a sacrifice and a task that must be done by all Biafrans across the globe.

Wakadaily reports that the five-day sit-at-home order had led to the killing of many residents in the South-East over the last five days.

Gunmen reportedly shot the commissioner for Solid mineral, Martins Eke, and killedpolicemanman and as well, the elder brother of Nollywood actor Osita Iheme, popularly known as ‘Pawpaw”.

Meanwhile, Nigerians all over the world are signing a petition appealing to the Finnish government, Nigerian government and the European Union to arrest Simon Ekpa, the brain behind the order.
