Early Life & Education
Masterkraft was born on June 28th in the area of Ajegunle, Lagos state, Nigeria, where he was raised but he originated hails from the Igbo tribe in Enugu State, Southeastern part of Nigeria.
Masterkraft, at a young age, was very intelligent and wanted to be an Accountant.
Despite coming from a poor background, he worked so hard in school that he came top among the students in his school known as Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government School, Ajegunle, in the common entrance exam and was offered a scholarship by the government.
Unfortunately, his uneducated and ignorant parents didn’t know what the scholarship meant; thus, they rejected the opportunity. Masterkraft’s dream of becoming an accountant was shattered at that moment, but the superstar kept pushing forward nonetheless.
His father died while he was still young, creating a huge vacuum to fill in the family and years of hardship.
He had to do manual jobs to provide for his family and himself.
Career
Masterkraft started his career at a very tender age while playing instruments in Church. He wasn’t born with a silver spoon so he had to get one for himself.
He came professionally after being part of Kennis Music in 2009, while he rose to fame after he met with MI who also listened to his sound and then introduced him to Banky W.
Masterkraft is the brain behind numerous hit songs in the country which include; “Fine Lady” by Lynxxx and Wizkid, “Girl” by Bracket featuring Wizkid, “Jasi” by Banky W, and so on.
He further gained prominence for his well-received single “Indomie” which also introduced CDQ to the music scene alongside Olamide.
