Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has opened up on why she chose Surrogacy as a way to become a mother.

The mother of one also speaks on her failed marriage, saying she regretted getting married the first time.

Recall that Ini Edo got married to Edo businessman, Philip Ehiagwina in 2008, but the marriage ended in 2014 over undisclosed reasons.

In a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Ini revealed that she regretted getting married because it wasn’t the right move to make.

On why she chose Surrogacy, she said: “I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages and I got tired of trying and I didn’t want to try. Since I don’t have a husband, I wanted a child for myself, so the eggs are mine.

On if she regrets her marriage, the actress said, “Yes, I regret it because it wasn’t the right move to make.

I will get married again if the right person comes at my own time”.
