Nigerian singer and songwriter, John Ighodaro popularly known as Johnny Drille has addressed his relationship with fast-rising actress, Tomi Ojo.

After a video of Johnny Drille and Ojo appearing to be romantically linked appeared online, their relationship became well-known.

The rumours started after the actress featured as his lover in a music video titled ‘Believe Me’, fans assumed they had something serious going on.

However, clarifying their relationship in a recent interview with Hip TV,  Johnny Drille maintained they are ‘just friends’.

The Edo-born singer said, “First of all, if you watched the ‘Believe Me’ music video, you would know that there are two Ojos in the song, one is Wale Ojo, the other one is Tomi Ojo.

“It was in a way some kind of pun but it seemed to work well together. But as regards relationship, Tomi Ojo is an amazing person. She’s fantastic person to work with. She’s very great for the music video. That is the much I can say. That’s all I can say.”

The singer made headlines days back, after he revealed his wife’s face in a new song ‘The Best Part’, many people were unable to hold back their disappointment. As nobody imagined that the singer was married and allegedly have a child.

His wife, Rima Tahini is also, director of A&R for the Mavin’s record.(Artiste and Repertoire).
