Nigerian actor and musician,Yemi Ayebo, popularly known as Yemi my Lover, speak on not getting any help from mentee Tope Alabi after she gained fame.

Yemi my lover revealed that the gospel musician use to be his apprentice in the movie industry in the ’90s and now that she has made it she doesn’t remember all his help to her.

Noting that Topi Alabi has never done anything for him that he can remember since she became famous and successful.

He also pointed out that Topi Alabi doesn’t even take his calls or return them, and that the singer didn’t acknowledge his birthday last year, even though he went extra length to send a letter of invitation to her office.

Recounting all the singer had done to him, Yemi said some gospel singers have  worst characters than regular people.

“Tope Alabi was my apprentice in the movie industry in the 90s. Now that she has made it, I can’t remember any help she ever rendered to me. She doesn’t even pick up my calls. Last year when I wanted to celebrate my birthday, I personally took the invitation letter to her office but she neither came nor send any gift to me. She didn’t even wish me a happy birthday but I am not mad, that is her way of life. Some of these gospel singers have worse character man regular people”.
