Bandits burn Catholic seminarian alive in Kaduna

Bandits in the wee hours of Thursday invaded St. Raphael Parish in Fadan Kamantan, Kafanchan Diocese of Kaduna State, destroyed the parish house and set a seminarian, Na’aman Danlami on fire.

It was gathered that while some priests fled during the tragedy, Danlamil, who was working there as a seminarian, was killed by the fire.

The deceased’s remains had been deposited at the mortuary in the state.

All efforts made by Wakadaily to reach the state Government and the Kaduna State Police Command for an official statement proved abortive.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Kaduna State, Rev. John Hayab, confirmed the incident to journalists.

He said, “It is very sad that killings and this type of evil are still going on.”
