Penis disappearance: Police explain how old woman was mobbed over false alarm

The Delta State Police Command on Wednesday explained how an old woman was almost mobbed over a false alarm raised by one Ebube Linus.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Bright Edafe, revealed this via his official X page.

According to the PPRO, the 18-year-old  Ebube had raised the alarm claiming that his manhood went missing.

Video circulating on social media shows how she was beaten, and dehumanized by the angry youths. However, investigation revealed that Ebube’s alarm was false as his manhood was intact.

The police spokesman said: “On Sunday 8th October 2023 at DBS Road Asaba, this 18-year-old suspect Ebube Linus raised a false alarm that an old woman inside a tricycle touched him and his manhood (penis) disappeared.

“Over 100 misguided touts gathered and mobbed this woman, stripping her naked and beating her to a stupor to almost killing her.

“The Command was contacted, and the DPO GRA division Asaba led policemen to the scene, rescued the woman, and arrested the suspect. We later discovered that nothing was wrong with him, as his manhood was intact.

“He just lied against a poor woman, a mother, a daughter, and a wife. Now, the video of her being beaten and stripped naked is all over the Internet. Does this make any sense”?

Wakadaily gathered that in recent times, there has been an increase in reported cases of penis disappearance in some part of the country, particularly Abuja, Kogi Nasarawa and Kaduna states.
