Kwankwaso warns wives against checking husbands’ phones

The Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, in the February 25th election, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has advised newly wedded wives against checking their husband’s phones.

The former Kano State governor said this could avoid anything leading to a marriage breakup.

Kwankwaso gave the warning at the reception organised for the mass marriage of 1,800 couples by the Kano State Government at the Open Theatre in Kano Government House on Saturday.

His said, “You have been advised by all and sundry. I believe you have been advised a thousand times.

“Ulamas, parents, relatives and even business people have advised you on how to live peacefully with one another.

“But, I have one single advice for you: checking spouses’ phones. Don’t peep your spouses’ phones as that is the major cause of marriage breakup.”
