Nigerian Good Samaritan found a baby by roadside

A young Nigerian good Samaritan identified as @Benking452 on Twitter, who is also known as Benkingsley Nwashara, found a 2-year-old baby by the roadside somewhere around Agbani area, in Enugu State, South-East goepolitical zone of Nigeria.

BenKing, posted on his Twitter around 10:43 pm on Wednesday 15 June 2022, notifying the public about the baby he found on his way back home dumped by the road side in Enugu, by a mental health challenge woman.

The tweet read, “I just picked an abandoned 2yr old baby by the roadside somewhere in Agbani, Enugu State. She was given birth to by a mad woman who normally stays at Eke Agbani. Took her to the police station and the DPO said we should take her home and clean her up and bring her back tomorrow”. 

He further said the baby has suffered tremendously because she was battered by the heavy downpour yesterday.

This baby has suffered tremendously. She sat at that same spot while all the rain that fell yesterday battered her. The market women didn’t do anything. I will post videos tomorrow and other updates”

WAKADAILY Reported that the Good Samaritan, took the child to the nearest police station that same night and was asked to bring her back the next day by the DPO, he also seek advice from the public for a tender proper diet to feed her.

“At the police station in Agbani, Enugu State. As at now, we’ve cleaned her up and she’s eating like someone who hasn’t eaten since she was born. Her body is full of sores, Please we need advice on the proper diet to feed her for now. I don’t know how to take care of babies.”
