Asagba of Asaba dies days after Celebrating 100th Birthday

The traditional ruler of Asaba, the Delta state capital city, His Royal Majesty Joseph Chike Edozien, has reportedly passed away.

Edozien, the 13th Asagba of Asaba died on wednesday, few days after celebrating his wonderful 100th birthday Anniversary.

It was a great loss to the entire Asaba kingdom.The monarch’s death filtered into the streets of Asaba on wednesday night within the residents of the state capital describing his death as a shock. The whole of Asaba has been thrown into mourning.

As of time of filling this report , the palace nor the Delta state Government was yet to issue an official statement regarding the death of the monarch.
