UK University honours Nigerian author, Dayo

Nigerian author, Dayo Olomu was honoured with an honorary doctorate by the International University of Information Management (IUIM), London.

A report gathered from the varsity says that the honorary doctorate in leadership was recently conferred upon Dayo Olomu in recognition of his exceptional achievements and contributions in the areas of leadership, organisation and learning development.

As a leader in HR/OD, executive coaching, strategic advisory, non-executive directorship and acclaimed author on leadership, Dayo Olomu has made a profound impact on individuals and organisations globally,” it noted.

The President/Chairman of the International University of Information Management, Ambassador Oyedokun Oyewole, said, “Dayo Olomu’s profile speaks volumes about your remarkable achievements and contributions in the fields of business transformation, leadership, organisation and learning development.

Olomu’s impressive array of 177 awards spanning 30 categories is a testament to his exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to excellence.”

He stressed that the honorary doctorate, in addition to his academic qualifications, further highlighted his continuous pursuit of knowledge and personal growth.

Also Oyewole added that, Olomu’s charitable efforts and advocacy for increased representation of black individuals on corporate boards exemplify his dedication to societal advancement.

Dayo Olomu’s lastest  book “The Premium Leader: Leadership Attributes and Strategies for Today’s Volatile World,” has achieved bestseller status on Amazon and has received acclaim from the International Leadership Association.

His co-authored work, “Leading Through African Ubuntu”, has been recognised for its contribution to leadership discourse.

The conferral of this honorary doctorate in Leadership Development upon Dayo Olomu is a testament to his outstanding contributions and will undoubtedly inspire future generations of leaders”, Oyewole stated.

Olomu showed his gratitude for the recognition and thanked the International University of Information Management for the honour.

“I am truly humbled and grateful to receive this honorary doctorate. It is a great honour to be recognised for my work in leadership development, and I will continue to strive for excellence in this field,” he stated.
