Minister to speak at finance forum

Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, has confirmed that he delivering the keynote speech at the Nigeria Development and Finance Forum 2024.

The NDFF, is a high level standard of public, private, social, and international sector leaders, which is scheduled to hold in Abuja, May 2024.

The NDFF conference, held in Nigeria for the first time following five previous editions hosted in London, Washington DC, and New York, is titled ‘The Road  Economic and Social Welfare Transformation.’

Jide Akintunde, the Chief Executive Officer of Financial Nigeria International and convener of NDFF, said the confirmation of Pate as a keynote speaker is a mark of progress, as the planning group for the conference aimed to bring together leaders who are critical to the objective of fostering fiscal reform, monetary stability, and social welfare towards achieving sustainable economic progress in Nigeria.

He said the minister would be speaking on the theme ‘Transforming Nigeria’s Population Health: Crowding in Policy, Market, and Social Actions.’

Confirming his participation at the NDFF 2024 Conference, the minister said, “The topic of my keynote speech is in line with our vision and approach for Nigeria’s health sector renewal.

The goal of health policy under the administration of President Bola Tinubu is to improve governance, provide efficient and equitable access to quality health services, drive investment in healthcare value chains, and enhance health security for all Nigerians.”
