Movie Review: Madam Webb ; Another MCU Flop

When we all thought The Marvels would be the last Flop the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Would ever release , they proved us wrong by bringing something much more BAD to our screens. Well they were not behind this alone , they had the support of Columbia Pictures in getting this Mayhem produced.

Madam web , well we all doubted the capabilities of this movie to go beyond standards and be actually good because we were already used to the MCU constantly leading us from one train wreck  to another but in the midst of all these  their flops we the fan base remained loyal, but to be sincere they really messed up when it came to this movie. Like after watching that movie I had preferred I invested that time in sleeping , Yes!!!! It was that bad.

The movie revolves around Cassandra Webb(Dakota Johnson)who  is a New York City paramedic who starts to show signs of a fortune teller . Forced to confront revelations about her past, she must protect three young women(Syndney Sweeney,Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor)from a mysterious adversary who wants them dead.And from the executives the movie development started in 2019 and I’m like were they all drunk during the development stage because this movie outrightly lacks development.

According to the writers they described the movie as a suspenseful Thriller and I still can’t wrap my head around that lie. The storyline was just so weak and bad, nothing to write home about , I was devastated  watching it , like why would the MCU reduce themselves to such a level?
I won’t blame the cast for not giving in their best , it’s not actually their fault , the script was so bad , at some point I even suspected that the script of that movie was written by CHATGPT , but maybe I’m right , maybe I’m not.  I would advise that the Cast called up their Agents and Yell at them for bringing stooping them so low to be part of this movie.
The Villian Ezekiel ( Tahar Rahim) embodied the role of “Hey guys am the most terrible actor you’d ever meet”, he was so bad at his acting , so bad that if Odumoje wanted to go into acting he would be 10 times better than him, that guy should probably go take an acting class or something because his presence on set made me bleed tears of disappointment.

The Cinematography was terrible, I wondered,  the budget for this movie was $80million dollars and everything is this bad, where did all this money go into? It was so exhausting twisting and turning my neck watching and trying to understand the rubbish that was associated and tagged as Cinematography.

sincerely speaking I could go on and on about how bad this movie is but they are not worth my time.

IMBD rating for this movie is 3.8/10 well they are lucky because me I’m giving this movie a 0.5/10.

The Writers , Director, Cast with emphasis on Ezekiel ( Tahar Rahim) should please go and retrace their steps, the movie was that bad , yes it was that BAD.
