Nigerian artist Ruger recently shared his experience on the X app, recounting the challenges he encountered during his time with Jonzing World Record Label, which were numerous.
Ruger stated in the initial section of his story;
“As much as I’m very appreciative of the fact that Jonzing world introduced me to the world, I just couldn’t continue with them because they got too comfortable with the money they were making from me and couldn’t push me further as I wanted to be pushed. Was supposed to renegotiate the contract but I couldn’t imagine 5 years more without action”
Ruger proceeded to explain how the record label utilized the money he earned to support another artist, without informing or involving him.
“Dey use my money Dey fund new artist, leaving me in the dark, not being transparent. I just laugh @@howe be noW”
Additionally, he stated that despite expressing his dissatisfaction, he ultimately returned to them, even though the affection he received from them was insincere.
“I complained, I got angry, some people tell me say no be so dem Dey do things, I still go back HQ go collect fake hugs and handshakes. Nothing still change. I wan mad”
Ruger expressed his thoughts on his personal development since departing from Jonzing World Record label, He stated that;
“Anyways, I’m proud of myself. Performing at very big festivals this year, touring Europe again, touring Canada again, IDC I’m gonna be cocky coz this is shit they couldn’t do for me. BS!!!”
Ruger expressed concerns for his safety and explained that he was refraining from revealing many details in his last statement regarding the dispute with his previous music label.

Remember that a few months ago, wakadaily informed us that Ruger had departed from his music label because of unresolved problems, although he didn’t explicitly stated what those problems were.
Instead, he expressed gratitude towards blogger Tunde Ednut for helping him gain recognition before he was signed by his previous record label.
